Japan’s Yosuke Asaji nears LIV Golf after Moutai Singapore Open 2025 win

Japanese golfer Yosuke Asaji won the 2025 Moutai Singapore Open, and with that, he nears qualifying for the LIV Golf. Earlier this month, the Saudi League announced a new pathway for players to get into the series through the International Series.

The top two players in the International Series standings after the conclusion of the 2025 season will earn spots in LIV Golf for the 2026 season. With one International Series event to go, Yosuke Asaji has moved into second place in the standings and has a good chance to play in the Saudi league next year.

However, he needs to maintain the ranking by the end of the season. Scott Vincent currently leads the standings while Miguel Tabuena is in third place, followed by Lucas Herbert in fourth.

Yosuke Asaji had an impressive time playing this week at the Moutai Singapore Open. The field also featured Kieran Vincent, who settled in tied for 18th place, Anthony Kim settled in T43, while Sihwan Kim finished in a tie for 46th place.
