He finished in the top five at the PIF Saudi International at Riyadh Golf Club, shooting rounds of 67, 64, 69 and 70 for his best result since returning to competitive golf last year. The result comes after a challenging 2025, when Kim was relegated from the LIV Golf Tour without earning a single point. Since then, he has steadily improved on the Asian Tour, showing that his comeback is gaining momentum more than a decade after he first stepped away from the sport. On November 23, Kim shared two swing videos on X, comparing his form from early 2024 with his recent play. He wrote:"The 1st video is from the end of January 2024 2 months b4 my first event @livgolf_league wen I decided I was gonna try golf again & u can see it was absolute 💩 but consistent work & faith shows the difference.
