"He’s a great golfer, better human being... we're all so lucky to have him as the President of the United States."

DeChambeau’s appearance at the White House comes after he attended a high-profile dinner in late November hosted by Trump. The event brought together elite guests, including Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, Cristiano Ronaldo, Apple CEO Tim Cook and billionaire Elon Musk.

Bryson DeChambeau’s connection with Trump goes beyond social events. Earlier in 2025, he was appointed Chair of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition (PCSFN). The council was revived through an executive order by Trump to focus on youth fitness, nutrition, and programs like the Presidential Fitness Test.

DeChambeau also teamed up with Trump for a YouTube video last year, taking part in his popular “Break 50” challenge. The video went viral and has gained over 16 million views.

What impressed Bryson DeChambeau most about Donald Trump’s golf game

Bryson DeChambeau talked about Donald Trump’s golf skills after their “Break 50” YouTube video last year, which raised $250,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. While the video showed their 18-hole scramble, DeChambeau was most impressed by Trump’s iron play.

“Man, his iron play was great. I can’t tell you the number of times he stuffed it on the green within 30 feet of regulation. His driver swing is the most repeatable thing I have ever seen. I wish mine was that repeatable. Really, I do,” DeChambeau told Golf.com.

Bryson DeChambeau has a long relationship with Trump and the Trump Organization. He has used a Trump-branded bag, played in pro-ams with Trump, and gifted him clubs.

"I am extremely honored to represent Trump Golf and have the relationship with the Trump Organization that I have. From Larry Glick, to Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., the entire team is always behind me 100%, and I am grateful for their support," DeChambeau said (via Yahoo).

Their connection also dates back to LIV Golf. In 2022, DeChambeau played a Pro-Am round with Trump, Dustin Johnson, and Eric Trump, and later celebrated his 2024 U.S. Open win with the Trump family.
