“Disappointing” - Max Homa sums up his year after wrapping up PGA Tour 2025 season

Max Homa has announced the wrap of the 2025 season following his decent week at the Bank of Utah Championship. The golfer wrote that it was a disappointing season but he learnt a lot from this year.

Homa was in action at Black Desert in Ivins, Utah for the Bank of Utah Championship where he tied for ninth to make only his second top ten of the year. On Monday, October 27, the six-time PGA Tour champion announced the wrap of his season.

"2025 season is a wrap for me," he wrote. "Disappointing season. It’s not a true failure if u learn something from it, and boy did I learn a lot this year. Looking forward to getting to work and making ‘26 my female dog. Huge thx to Utah and all the fans for showing out this week and making my last event of the year a fun one! #golf #pvo"

A look at Max Homa's 2025 season

Max Homa didn't have a great 2025 as he struggled in most of the events. He played 24 events on the PGA Tour and missed a whopping eight cuts. Besides he could only make just two top ten finishes to finish at 111th in the FedEx Cup. With three top 20s in the Fall season, he moved to 93rd in the FedEx Cup Fall.

For the uninitiated, Homa hasn't won a professional event for nearly two years now. His last win came at the DP World Tour's Nedbank Golf Challenge, while the Farmers Insurance Open 2023 was his last PGA Tour success.
