“Charley Hull’s a baller” - PGA Tour winner impressed by LPGA icon at Grant Thornton Invitational 2025

Michael Brennan hailed his partner Charley Hull after a great performance at the Grant Thornton Invitational 2025. The PGA Tour winner admitted that he didn't have a great day but referred to her as a "baller."

On Sunday, December 14, Brennan and Charley Hull carded a 7-under 65 and aggregated at 25-under over three rounds. The duo tied for second and finished three strokes back.

During the post-round interview, the 23-year-old golfer reflected on his performance and praised Charley Hull.

"Yeah, Charley's a baller," he said, "I didn't really have my best stuff today, really loose with the irons, but she, I mean, kept us in it pretty much single handedly so it was pretty impressive."

Hull also had a few words of praise for the Bank of Utah Championship winner.

"I really enjoyed playing with Michael," she said. "He's got a great game and it's just so much fun. We said this was probably one of the most fun weeks of the year and it was great. Obviously we were just trying to hole out on the last hole, but they played great. I just had such a fun week, so thank you."
