Ben Griffin married Dana Myeroff on Saturday, December 6, in a grand celebration at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. The couple hosted 125 guests for a weekend built around a tropical luxury theme, with touches inspired by India Hicks and Ralph Lauren, as reported by People Magazine. The event also included animals as part of the theme. With Ben Griffin traveling for most of the year, the couple depended heavily on their planner, Meredith Falk of GLDN Events, to put the weekend together. Myeroff told People that their idea for including animals came directly from the venue’s identity."With The Colony’s logo being a monkey, and shown on our wedding stationery, we really wanted to include an actual monkey and flamingos during our cocktail hour. This felt so unique to The Colony and such a fun way to kick off the party," Myeroff told PEOPLE. View this post on Instagram Instagram PostThe wedding events started earlier in the week. Griffin asked Doug Sieg, the CEO of Lord Abbett, to officiate his big day.Sieg has played an important role in Ben Griffin’s career. He supported Griffin financially when the golfer briefly stepped away from the game in 2021, and the two have stayed close ever since. Griffin described him as a father figure and said Sieg was stunned when he was asked to lead the ceremony. Speaking to Front Office Sports, Griffin said,“He was so caught off guard when I asked him. He had no clue. He had to Google some things.”Sieg eventually became ordained and agreed to take part in the wedding. For Griffin, it was a way to honor someone who believed in him long before his rise on the PGA Tour.“He’s the most important sponsor I’ve had and will ever have in my life. And it’s no offense to all my other sponsors—and all my other sponsors probably know it—they understand that Lord Abbett was there from the get go when I made this comeback,” Griffin said.Lord Abbett, a firm that manages more than $240 billion, first signed Ben Griffin in 2021 and renewed the deal this September.
