Anthony Kim has recently praised President Donald Trump for announcing a $1776 'Warrior Dividend' for military members. Trump announced that this will benefit 1.45 million members of the military ahead of Christmas.
On Wednesday, December 17, Donald Trump announced that the $1776 checks would be issued to U.S. military members. The President named the reward the 'Warrior Dividend' with the specific number in honor of the country's year of Independence.
On Thursday, December 18, Anthony Kim praised President Trump for his announcement on X.
"Shoutout 2 Donald Trump 4 getting the well deserved military a check 🇺🇸," he wrote.

Earlier on Wednesday, Donald Trump announced the reward in his address to the nation.
"1,450,000 military service members will receive a special, we call, warrior dividend before Christmas," he said as per the CNN. "A warrior dividend. In honor of our nation’s founding in 1776, we are sending every soldier $1,776. And the checks are already on the way."
"We made a lot more money than anybody thought because of tariffs, and the bill helped us along. Nobody deserves it more than our military, and I say congratulations to everybody," he added.
Is Anthony Kim playing at the PNC Championship 2025?
Anthony Kim is not competing at the PNC Championship 2025, as he is not allowed to compete in PGA Tour-associated events. For the uninitiated, LIV Golf professionals are banned from competing on the Tour.
Kim was last seen at the PIF Saudi International, where he tied for fifth after shooting 67, 65, 69 and 70 in the four rounds. This was his first top-ten finish in over eleven years.
Anthony Kim made his return to competitive golf in 2024 but has had a tough two years on LIV Golf. He failed to make an impression and had just one top-25 finish this year and finished 55th in the season standings. The 40-year-old golfer has lost his card and won't be able to compete next year without a wild card.
