Herbert teamed up with Paws For Life K9 Rescue as part of a World Kindness Day campaign with KIND Snacks. The quarterback shared moments from his visit on Instagram, writing:

“Spent the day with some incredible dogs @pawsforlifek9 who’ve been waiting a little longer for their forever homes. A reminder that kindness starts small and can make a big difference! Proud to partner with @kindsnacks and CHOOSE KIND this World Kindness Day and beyond. #KINDPartner“

While Herbert’s off-field compassion won fans over, he continues to impress on the gridiron. The Chargers quarterback recently led his team to a 25-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10, finishing with 220 passing yards and one touchdown.

Amanda Balionis shares a funny dream involving Justin Herbert

Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time Amanda Balionis mentioned Justin Herbert recently. On Monday, November 10, the golf analyst posted a video on her Instagram story describing a strange mix-up between her two worlds of golf and football.

In the video, Balionis said she dreamt of Herbert playing on both the PGA Tour and in an NFL game at the same time. She explained that during the dream, she kept forgetting that Herbert was also the Chargers quarterback while interviewing him as a golfer, which left her completely confused.

"Justin Herbert was playing on the PGA Tour and in his NFL game, and for some reason, every time he was on the golf course, I couldn't remember that he was also the starting quarterback for the Chargers. So I kept making jokes to him about the game, saying, “Well, whoever's playing the Chargers better watch out because they're not going to win against the Chargers quarterback," she said.

Balionis laughed about the incident, calling it another “work-coated nightmare” caused by her fear of being unprepared. The reporter, who covers both NFL and golf for CBS Sports, said she woke up in a sweat, wondering,

“Why am I this way?”

Before joining CBS Sports, Balionis started her career covering high school sports for Verizon Fios Channel 1 and MSG Networks. In 2011, she joined the PGA Tour as an in-house reporter and host. Five years later, she moved to Callaway Golf, where she created digital content for the company’s media team. CBS hired her in 2017 as a part-time golf reporter, and by the following year, she became a full-time reporter covering both college football and NFL games.
