With the PGA Tour's upcoming season still at bay, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy's teams' faceoff in the Optum Golf Channel Games recently provided some solid entertainment. As the event ended, a three-time PGA Tour winner also wrapped up his time at Golf Channel to take Colt Knost's spot at CBS.Recently, CBS had their on-course reporter, Knost, moved to the booth as an analyst. He will now work alongside Frank Nobilo, host Jim Nantz, and the lead analyst, Trevor Immelman. To fill in Knost's spot, former PGA Tour pro Johnson Wagner has joined CBS as an on-course walking analyst after leaving Golf Channel.As a part of CBS, Wagner might get the opportunity to cover the FedEx Cup Playoffs and majors like the Masters and the PGA Championship in the upcoming year. Wagner's switch to CBS was also shared on X (previously Twitter) by NUCLR GOLF. Wagner had been a part of the NBC Sports Network since 2023. The golf analyst also bagged the 46th Annual Sports Emmy as a part of NBCUniversal’s 2024 Olympics coverage.
