Free Fire Max Asia Invitational 2025 Main Event: Groups, teams, and dates

The Main Event of the Free Fire Max Asia Invitational (FFMAI) 2025 is all set to begin on December 11. A total of 18 teams are gearing up for the stage. Eight have been directly invited to the contest, while 10 teams have qualified through the Play-Ins. These participants will first compete in the Group Stage of the Main Event, after which the top 12 will advance to the Grand Finals.

Garena has randomly seeded the 18 teams into three groups. Each squad will play 12 matches across three days of the Group Stage (from December 11 to 13). The top 12 from the overall points table will then battle in the Grand Finals on December 14.

Schedule

The teams listed above will compete in a round-robin format. Groups B and C will play on December 11, Groups A and C will face off on December 12, and Groups A and B will contest on December 13. Fans can watch all Main Event matches live on the Free Fire Max Esports India Official YouTube channel at 5:30 p.m. IST.

Indian teams Total Gaming Esports, which won the Free Fire Max India Cup (FFMIC) 2025 Clash Squad, and S8UL, which acquired Team Elite just before the FFMAI, have earned direct spots in the Main Event.

Thailand's Team Falcons and Indonesia's Bigetron have also been invited to the Main Event. Additionally, Vietnam's P Esports, Nepal's DRS, Bangladesh's Red Hawks, and Malaysia's Maqna have all secured direct entries into this stage.

In the Play-Ins of the FFMAI 2025, Vietnam's GOW delivered an outstanding performance, finishing at the top of the overall standings. Thailand's Avida and India's GodLike also impressed, securing places in the top three.

Reckoning and Kagendra placed fourth and fifth, respectively. G8 Esports claimed eighth place, while Revenant XSpark and Meta Ninza finished ninth and 10th, respectively, earning their spots in the Main Event.
