French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly ready to battle Real Madrid for the signature of Flamengo youngster Ryan Roberto. As reported by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, the Parisians are keen on beating Los Blancos for the 17-year-old.
PSG are reportedly still disappointed to have missed out on Franco Mastantuono's signing, who has been proven to be a solid acquisition. The Argentine sensation has made an immediate impact upon joining Xabi Alonso's side.
Ryan Roberto has recently emerged as one of the most promising young players in Brazilian football. He has impressed for Flamengo's U17 side this season, having already registered 21 goals and 14 assists.
Juni Calafat, the orchestrator behind Real Madrid's success from Brazil in recent years, is reportedly an admirer of the teenager. The wonderkid is predominantly a left winger but can also play on the right flank and as a number ten.
Los Blancos have been successful in recruiting young players from Brazil in recent years. Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo have both been huge hits while Endrick also has time on his side to live up to his immense potential.
The teenager reportedly has a €50 million release clause in his deal with Flamengo. Apart from Real Madrid and PSG, a number of other European sides are also reportedly monitoring the youngster's progress.
PL star names Real Madrid and PSG among his four dream clubs
Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz has named his four dream clubs as he continues to impress for the Eagles. He named Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG as the four clubs he wishes to play for.
The Colombian wing-back admitted that he dreams of playing for one of his dream clubs but remains fully focused on Crystal Palace and Colombia. Munoz said, as quoted by Metro:
"Everything I hear out there, all the talk about one club or another, if you ask me, for me it would be a dream to play for one of these clubs. Whether it’s Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, or Manchester United, I work towards that, I strive every day, so that maybe one day I can catch the attention of one of these clubs because it’s a dream for me."
The 29-year-old added:
"But the truth is that I’m focused on my club, on doing things well at Crystal Palace, and I’m not really aware of what’s being said on social media. I don’t have any information that any of these clubs want me or are interested in me. These days my focus is on Crystal Palace and, obviously, here with the national team."
Munoz has been excellent for Crystal Palace since joining the Eagles in a reported £6.8 million deal from Belgian side Genk in January 2024. He has scored eight goals and provided 14 assists in 81 appearances for the south London side so far.
