Manchester United in pole position to beat Arsenal and Liverpool in race to sign midfielder as Ruben Amorim’s first signing at Old Trafford: Reports

Manchester United are leading the race to sign Norwegian midfielder Sverre Nypan, according to TBR Football. Arsenal and Liverpool also have their eyes on the 17-year-old, who has caught the eye with Rosenborg.

The Norwegian club have already told Nypan that he is free to leave next year and the Red Devils are confident of securing a deal. The Premier League giants have a history of nurturing young talents and turning them into capable footballers.

Manchester United have had their eyes on the young midfielder for a while and are ready to go for the kill in 2025. The report adds that while the player has a €10m price tag, a deal is likely to cost €20m including bonuses.

The Red Devils are embarking on a new journey under Ruben Amorim, who took charge as the new head coach at Old Trafford earlier this week. The Premier League giants parted ways with Erik ten Hag at the end of last month following a poor run of results.
