Liverpool are interested in Barcelona winger Raphinha, according to TBR Football. The Brazilian was heavily linked with an exit from Camp Nou over the summer.

The 27-year-old had dropped down the pecking order for the Catalans last season following Lamine Yamal's emergence. Multiple clubs across Europe registered their interest in Raphinha's signature at the end of the previous campaign.

Raphinha's future was also up in the air following Hansi Flick's arrival, but the player opted to stay with Barcelona and fight for his place. Flick moved Raphinha to the left wing at the start of this season to help accommodate both him and Yamal in attack.

The move has paid off, with the Brazilian winger having scored 12 goals and set up 10 more in 17 games across competitions for the Catalans. His efforts have already turned heads at Anfield. Liverpool are preparing for life after Mohamed Salah, with the Egyptian winger's contract set to expire next summer.

While Salah could sign a new deal, the Reds have to lay down succession plans for the future. Raphinha has popped up on their radar and the Merseyside club are considering bringing him back to the Premier League.

However, Liverpool will face competition from Arsenal and Newcastle United for the Brazilian. The Gunners have had their eyes on the player since his days with Leeds United and have previously tried to bring him to the Emirates.

Prising Raphinha away from Barcelona won't be easy as he is settled at the club and not actively looking to leave. He is under contract with the Catalans until 2027 and the club have no desire to let him go either.

It was previously reported that Barcelona have set their sights on Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian's contract situation is likely to be of interest to the Catalans.

The LaLiga giants are under financial distress and are eyeing free agents in the transfer market once again. The chance to sign a proven goalscorer like Salah on a Bosman move is likely to entice the club hierarchy.

However, a new report from Fichajes.net has claimed that Barcelona have pulled the plug on their pursuit of the 32-year-old. The report adds that the emergence of Lamine Yamal, coupled with Raphinha's form, has convinced the Catalans to stick with their options. Salah no longer fits the LaLiga giants' sporting project, but he is likely to have offers from the Middle East next year.
