LaLiga club Real Betis are reportedly planning a loan deal for Barcelona forward Pau Victor, amid reports of the Catalan giants facing problems in registering him. The 23-year-old is considered a promising young talent and has made 17 appearances for Barca's first team.

After rising through Girona's youth set-up, Pau Victor joined Barca Atletic on loan in 2023. The Spaniard signed a permanent contract with Barcelona valid until 2029 in July 2024 and was included in the first-team squad. Victor made his senior team debut in August 2024 in a 2-1 LaLiga win against Valencia. He has made 17 appearances (187 minutes) for La Blaugrana, recording two goals and one assist across competitions.

According to Diario SPORT, Real Betis are keen on signing Pau Victor on loan as Barcelona are facing problems in registering him. The Catalan side's financial woes have been well-documented for a few seasons now. Their economic situation, coupled with LaLiga's Financial Fair Play rules, could pose problems for them in registering key players.

However, the aforementioned report suggests that Barcelona are not keen on letting Victor leave. The club will only consider letting him go if the player pushes for a move, but the forward is reportedly happy at Barca. While Pau Victor is not a regular starter for La Blaugrana yet, he is an important backup forward and can be used as an effective substitute.

Real Betis reportedly still hope to convince Pau Victor to sign for them on loan by promising him more playtime. They value the forward's ability to play in two or three different positions, in combinations, and his finishing skills.

As per the report, a potential deal will depend on Betis and Barca's financial situations and LaLiga's rules. Both clubs are not in the ideal situation economically.

According to Spanish outlet Catalunya Radio, Barcelona are in a race against the clock to register summer signing Dani Olmo. The talented midfielder joined the Catalans from RB Leipzig for a reported €60 million.

Olmo was provisionally registered this summer, but his registration will expire by December 31. The club must come up with solutions to re-register him. If Barca fail to register him within a certain deadline, Olmo will be forced to leave as a free agent in the winter transfer window. The Spaniard, on the other hand, reportedly believes that the club will do everything possible to register him.

Barcelona are reportedly considering multiple economic levers in order to register Olmo. The club is looking to sell players like Eric Garcia and Andreas Christensen, with Girona keen on signing the former. Another option could be to make use of goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen's long-term injury. The keeper is not expected to return this season.
