Max Allegri is in charge of AC Milan right now and was also previously in charge at the club when Silva played for the Italian giants. The Brazilian great spent three seasons at the San Siro between 2009 and 2012 and played 119 times for the Rossoneri.

Silva is now 41 years of age and is currently on the books of Fluminense, his boyhood club. He moved back to his childhood club in 2024 after his contract expired with Chelsea.

Even at 41, Silva remains a top defender and a key player for Fluminense, and they reportedly have no intention of parting ways. The report also claims that the veteran defender himself is also fully focused on Fluminense.

Thiago Silva is widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders of his generation. He played for AC Milan, PSG, and Chelsea in Europe and became a fan favourite at all three clubs.

He moved to Stamford Bridge as a 35-year-old in 2020 and stayed four seasons at the club. He helped the Blues win three major trophies, including the UEFA Champions League in 2020-21.

"You look at Joao Pedro, he wouldn’t have been top of my list, but he’s been great so far. He’s had a really good start to his Chelsea career and I think a lot of strikers come in and don’t get off to the start that he’s got off to so I’m delighted for him."

The former England international added:

"I think he’s been really, really good. And also, I see him train and the boys tell me he’s unbelievable in training as well. So I like the way he trains, his whole demeanour, and he’s scoring goals, which I love."

Joao Pedro has so far made 17 appearances across competitions for Chelsea, scoring seven goals and providing three assists. He helped Enzo Maresca's side win the FIFA Club World Cup in the summer with three goals in three games.
