Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly interested in Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, who's on loan at Barcelona. As per Fichajes.net, they are willing to spend €50 million to sign him next summer.

Rashford came through Manchester United's academy and has made 426 appearances for them, scoring 138 goals and providing 78 assists. However, due to a drop in form and a fallout with manager Ruben Amorim, his future at the club is under speculation. He was sent to Aston Villa on loan in January this year before moving to Barcelona on loan in the summer.

Rashford has had a good start with the Spanish giants, scoring six goals and providing nine assists in 17 games across competitions. He has started in 13 of those games and has become an important player in Raphinha's absence due to injuries.

Barcelona have a buy option worth €35 million in his loan deal. However, PSG are also monitoring his situation. If the Spanish giants don't trigger his buy option, they are willing to pay €50 million to sign him from Manchester United.

When Barcelona forward Marcus Rashford spoke about 'inconsistent environment' at Manchester United

In an interview in October this year, Marcus Rashford opened up about his struggles at Manchester United in recent years. He spoke about the inconsistency and constant changes at the club, claiming that it hampered his career as well.

The Barcelona winger said (h/t Daily Mail):

"For sure, consistency is a massive part of it. I feel like I have been in an inconsistent environment for a very long time, so it is even more difficult to be consistent. But I completely agree, I think consistency is what I need to bring into my game and I am looking to do that. I want to be at my best, not sometimes, but as often as possible."

"When people talk about consistency, in order to be consistent in anything not just sport, you need consistent variables in your life and the way you train. We have just had so many changes so far in my career but I have to look forward and that it definitely one of the things I want to put right and improve on to be at my best more often. When I am at my best I really enjoy everything about the sport," he added.

Rashford, notably, played under four permanent and three interim managers at Manchester United.
