Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has reportedly rejected an offer from Turkish side Fenerbahce. The Polish star was offered an 18-month deal, but the forward wants another season added.

According to AS (via Barca Blaugranes), Fenerbahce have made a move to sign Lewandowski in January. The striker is in the final year of his contract at Barcelona and has not been offered a new deal.

He will be free to sign a pre-contract with any side from January, but Fenerbahce are looking to lure him in the winter window. The report comes just days after his agent, Pini Zahavi, told 365 Scores that a move in the winter window was not on their plans.

He claimed that the striker was not interested in leaving Barcelona mid-season and would see out his contract at the club before making a move. He said (via Barca Blaugranes):

“Everything being said about Lewandowski ‘s possible departure in the winter transfer window is completely false. Robert isn’t thinking about leaving right now; he’s completely focused on helping the team and winning titles. He feels completely settled in Barca and has no intention of opening the door to a mid-season exit.”

Lewandowski is also a target for AC Milan and Al-Nassr, with both sides keen on bolstering their attack. The Polish star has fallen behind in the pecking order at Camp Nou, with Hansi Flick preferring Ferran Torres as his main striker over the former Bayern Munich star this season.

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski remains calm over future

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski was recently quizzed about his contract situation at the club, and the Polish star said he was calm but unsure. However, he added that he was not in a hurry to make a decision about next season and told GOAL:

"I still don't know the answer. That's why I'm not in a hurry, I'm at peace with myself. And that is the most important thing. Even if, for example, the club contacted me now, I still wouldn't answer that question. Because I also have to feel what's best for me. Now I'm calm, I'm not in a hurry and, at the moment, I don't expect anything else."

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick also told Mundo Deportivo this month that it was too early to talk about Lewdowski's future at the club. The striker joined in 2022 for a reported €50 million fee from Bayern Munich.
