Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes has taken a dig at Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison on social media following his side's North London Derby triumph. The Gunners secured a commanding 4-1 victory over their local rivals at the Emirates on Sunday, November 23.

A Leandro Trossard strike (36') and an Eberechi Eze hat-trick (46', 55', 76') propelled Mikel Arteta's side to their ninth league victory of the season. Richarlison, meanwhile, got Spurs' consolation goal.

Gabriel was missing in action as the Brazilian was sidelined with a groin injury sustained during the international break. However, the 27-year-old joined in the post-match celebration before taking to Instagram to poke fun at his fellow countryman, Richarlison.

Tagging the Tottenham forward, Gabriel posted a photo of himself wearing an Eze jersey. He also showed off Eze's Man of the Match award and signed matchday ball, alongside the Arsenal Player of the Month trophy he'd received.

His post appeared to be a response to Richarlison, who had previously trolled him following a pre-season friendly win, back in July. The Spurs forward had posted a picture of his Player of the Match Award and tagged Gabriel after Tottenham defeated Arsenal 1-0 in Hong Kong.

Reacting to the post, teammates Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka commented with emojis, while Eze wrote:

The win saw Arteta's side maintain their lead at the top of the table and go six points clear of second-place Chelsea. Tottenham, meanwhile, are ninth on the log with 18 points from 12 matches.

What's next for Arsenal after London Derby victory?

Mikel Arteta's side put up an impressive performance to see off rivals Tottenham Hotspur and further strengthen their league title pursuit. The clash was the first of three high-profile matches in the Gunners' schedule after the international break.

Up next, they will host Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, November 26. Four days later, they will play in another London Derby, this time away at Chelsea.

So far, the Gunners have been in outstanding form, recording 15 wins, two draws, and a loss from 18 matches across competitions.
