Manchester United star Amad Diallo has admitted that the 2024/25 season was a career low for all, as they went into the game without any hope. He believes the club are heading in the right direction under Ruben Amorim now, as the mindset has changed.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Diallo said the Manchester United players are keen to improve their position on the table. He is confident that they will do well in the upcoming matches, and added that they feel like a different team this season. He said:

"From my personal side, I think we are improving a lot, especially as a team, because I can remember last season some of the games weren't easy for us. We were going into games already thinking we lost the game, but this season is different. Different mindset, different energy. We go to the game and we feel we can win this game, so I think we are improving and the staff also are helping us to make that step."

"We are not really happy where we are in the table we are right now, but we will improve. What I can say, I'm sure we will do much better for the next game. I think we are a different team now. We know this season is different than last season. We play one game a week, so we have to try to do better every game."

Manchester United finished 15th in the Premier League table last season, losing 18 of their 38 matches and collecting just 42 points.

Manchester United have three leaders in the dressing room, says Amad Diallo

Amad Diallo has revealed that Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire are the main leaders in the dressing room at Manchester United. He said that Bryan Mbeumo is also a part of the leadership group and said:

"The mindset is positive in the dressing room. We are a different team. Bruno [Fernandes] is a leader, [Harry] Maguire, everyone, even Bryan. I think the energy is positive. Honestly, it's much, much better than last season. Like I say, we want to do better every game and I promise we will."

Ruben Amorim was under pressure earlier this season after a poor start. However, he has managed to turn things around, and they are sitting ninth in the Premier League table. They face West Ham United on Thursday, December 4, and can jump to fifth with a win.
