However, the £125 million summer signing struggled to get involved in the game, as he completed just six passes from an attempted eight, created one chance, and landed zero shots on target from one attempt. The 26-year-old also completed zero dribbles, crosses, and lost seven duels before being subbed off in the 55th minute for Ekitike.

How did Liverpool fare during their 3-0 loss against Nottingham Forest?

Liverpool suffered their sixth defeat in seven Premier League games as they were emphatically defeated 3-0 by Nottingham Forest. They are currently 11th in the league standings with 18 points from 12 games, eight points behind leaders Arsenal.
