Fans reacted to a funny video of Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi's post-match celebration following the Herons' 3-1 MLS Cup win over Vancouver on Sunday (December 7). Messi wasn't among the scorers but provided two assists.

An Edler Ocampo own goal inside seven minutes set Javier Mascherano's side on their way before Ali Ahmed equalised for Vancouver at the hour mark. However, the Herons soon regained their lead - through Rodrigo De Paul 11 minutes later - before Tadeo Allende applied the coup de grace in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Both strikes were assisted by the legendary Messi as Mascherano's side clinched their first MLS Cup and fourth overall trophy - all since the Argentine attacker's arrival two years ago.

A post-match celebration of the Herons - as uploaded by CrewsMat10 - saw the club's co-owner David Beckham joined by other players in celebration. However, Messi seemed tired and didn't sport a smile, eliciting funny reactions from fans.

Earlier in the regular season, Messi recorded 29 goals and 19 assists to win the Golden Boot, having fallen short in the Leagues Cup final following a 3-0 away loss to Seattle earlier in the campaign.

It's pertinent to note that following his arrival at the Herons in the summer of 2023, Messi inspired the club to their first-ever title - the Leagues Cup - and has since won three more titles.
