Cristiano Ronaldo superfans Piers Morgan and IShowSpeed were in awe of the Portuguese superstar's bicycle kick goal during Al-Nassr's league clash with Al-Khaleej on Sunday, November 23. The Knights of Najd continued their perfect start to the 2025-26 Saudi Pro League with a dominant 4-1 win over sixth-placed Al-Khaleej.
Joao Felix opened the scoring for Al-Nassr in the 39th minute following an earlier disallowed goal. Felix turned provider three minutes later, setting up Wesley Gasova, who curled his effort into the top corner to double Al-Nassr's advantage.
Murad Al Hawsawi halved the deficit for Al-Khaleej with a long-range strike two minutes after the break, before Sadio Mane restored Al-Nassr's two-goal lead in the 77th minute.
With the win practically sealed, Cristiano Ronaldo put the game to bed with a stunning overhead kick deep into added time. The 40-year-old rolled back the years as he connected with Nawaf Al-Boushal's cross with his back to goal and struck home with an acrobatic volley that left the goalkeeper with no chance.
The goal, of course, left many of Ronaldo's fans stunned, including British media personality Morgan and online streamer Speed, who both took to social media to react to the strike.
"Just when I thought my night couldn’t get any better, my mate @Cristiano scores another worldie bicycle kick goal. He’s 40! Ridiculous," Morgan wrote on X.
Speed, who has often shown his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, also tweeted:
"RONALDO YOU ANIMAL!!!!!!!🐐🐐🐐🐐."
The goal took Cristiano Ronaldo's career tally to 954, and to 104 for Al-Nassr in 117 appearances for the club.
What Piers Morgan and IShowSpeed have said about Cristiano Ronaldo
Piers Morgan and IShowSpeed have consistently worn their admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo on their sleeves, naming him as the greatest of all time (GOAT) on multiple occasions.
During his most recent interview with Ronaldo, Morgan called the Al-Nassr forward the GOAT, saying his archrival Lionel Messi isn't even Argentina's best player. Morgan said:
"For me you are the GOAT, for me Messi is not even the Argentinian GOAT. Maradona was better than him."
Ronaldo, meanwhile, responded:
"Thank you. And how many World Cups did Argentina win before Messi? It's normal there."
When asked about his obsession with Ronaldo during an appearance on CBS Sports earlier this year, Speed said:
"I do think Ronaldo is the GOAT. You know, he's my inspiration. Ronaldo played in the Premier League, LaLiga and Italia. Messi played in one league.
When told that Messi has more Ballon d'Or awards, he retorted:
"I don't understand why a Ballon d’Or defines a player. In today's game, I don't think trophies define a player. It's what they do on the field."
