Real Madrid star Rodrygo has reacted on social media after Neymar scored a hat-trick to help Santos in their relegation fight in the Brazilian Serie A. The 33-year-old scored his goals in a 17-minute span in the second half to get his side a crucial 3-0 win over Juventude.

Neymar has been playing with a knee injury in the last two matches, as he is desperate to help his side avoid relegation this season. He rejoined Santos in January this year on a six-month deal after his contract at Al-Hilal was terminated, and renewed his contract until the end of the season.

Real Madrid star Rodrygo, who began his career at Santos, took to Instagram to post a clip of Neymar's penalty, which completed his hat-trick, and wrote a caption:

"To God be the Glory"

Santos are now unbeaten in their five matches, picking up 11 points, but are not safe from relegation. They face Cruzeiro in the final match of the season on Sunday at Vila Belmiro, and will need to at least match the results of the three clubs right below them in the table - Vitoria, Internacional, Fortaleza, and Ceará.

A win for Santos could also see them qualify for the Sudamericana group stage, as the two sides right above them in the table - Atletico Minero and Vasco de Gama - face each other on the final day, while being just a point ahead of them.

Brazil coach sends warning to Neymar and Real Madrid star

Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti has warned Neymar and Vinicius Jr that they are not guaranteed a place in the FIFA World Cup squad next summer. He wants all players to be at their best and said (via GOAL):

"He has to be 100%. There are many players who are very good, I need to choose players that are 100%. It's not just Neymàr, it could be [Real Madrid forward] Vinícius. If Vinícius is at 90%, I'll call up another player who is at 100%, because it's a team that has a very high level of competence, especially up front. Up front, we have really many good players."

The former Real Madrid manager took over as the Brazil national team coach in the summer after his exit from Los Blancos. Neymar has been fighting for a place in the squad, but has yet to be called up by the Italian.
