"Nothing good to offer", "He is a fool" - Fans call out Manchester United man as they believe he 'sabotaged' Red Devils in 1-1 West Ham draw

Manchester United fans are furious with manager Ruben Amorim after their 1-1 draw against West Ham United. The Red Devils faithful believe that the club need to sack the Portuguese coach, if they want to progress.

Diogo Dalot opened the scoring for the Red Devils just before the hour mark, but the home side could not keep hold of their lead until the end. Soungoutou Magassa managed to level things up with seven minutes left in the game, and the two sides had to share points.

Manchester United fans have called for Amorim to be sacked soon after the game, with the majority claiming that the Portuguese manager is not ideal for the club. They want the club to make a swift decision and posted:

Ruben Amorim spoke about the game and said:

"Just losing second balls. And when they kick the ball long. Mateus [Fernandes] running with the ball. They win the first ball and then Bowen was making the runs. You can't control that kind of game. We should be better with the ball after the first goal. We had a big opportunity with Cunha. We had the ball near the box but the crosses were not good. Sometimes the players' characteristics inside the box are not good. They are not enough to score goals from that position."

"[The performance] was not constant. We had good moments and we lost control a little bit in the first half and a little bit in the second half after the goal. We should have closed the game when we scored the first one. The game was in control. We knew it. Let's defend far from the box. We knew set pieces would be a problem with the difference in height in the team but we could do it. We could maintain the ball after the first goal and again we lost two points."

Manchester United could have moved to fifth in the table, but now sit eighth, level on points with Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Manchester United star Diogo Dalot said it was a massive result for the club despite dropping two points against West Ham United. He claimed that their aim remains to finish in the top five and said:

"I think it's massive. We're at the time of the year where you cannot drop too many points, otherwise the distance to the top will be even higher. This season, the distance is short, but it will come to a time when everyone starts spreading out and we want to be there, we want to be in the top four, top five. That's the aim, we have to be there."

Manchester United face Wolverhampton next in the Premier League, before hosting AFC Bournemouth.
