Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Corinthians youngster Breno Bidon. The 20-year-old Brazilian is one of the highly-rated prospects in his country and is attracting strong interest from multiple clubs across Europe.
A product of Corinthians' youth academy, Bidon made his professional debut in 2024. Since then, he has gone on to become a key member of the first team, making 90 appearances and contributing two goals and three assists.
The Brazilian U-20 star began his career playing as a defensive midfielder, but has developed into a central midfielder. This term, he has featured 46 times across competitions, including 27 appearances in the Brazilian Serie A, and has a goal and an assist to his name.
As per Brazilian media outlets Somos Fanaticos and Itatiaia Esporte (via Sport Witness), Corinthians are aware of the rising interest in Bindon and have placed a £10.1 million price tag on his services. However, the midfielder's contract, which runs until December 2029, has a release clause of £85 million for clubs outside of Brazil.
The Brazilian outfit controls about 90% of Bidon's rights, giving them a strong hand in negotiations regarding his sale. Top clubs like PSV Eindhoven, Napoli, and Saudi side Al-Ahli have made approaches for the player, but have had their offers rejected by Corinthians, who believe that Bidon's valuation can still increase.
Manchester United are currently in a rebuilding phase, and getting a promising talent like Bidon could be the right move for the Premier League giants. Furthermore, with Bruno Fernandes attracting strong interest from the Middle East, the Brazilian could be an ideal future replacement for the Portuguese star.
Serie A club considering move for out-of-favour Manchester United forward - Reports
According to Italian media outlet Gazetta dello Sport, AC Milan are considering making a move for Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee in January. The Italian giants are keen to bring in a striker and have identified the Dutchman as a potential option.
Zirkzee, who joined United two seaosn ago from Bologna, has struggled for game time this season under manager Ruben Amorim. The 24-year-old has managed just 90 minutes of action in five appearances across competition, with all coming off the bench.
As per the reports, AC Milan believes Zirkzee's experience of playing in the Serie A makes him an ideal option. The Manchetser United star made 57 league appearances with Bologna, registering 13 goals and seven assists, helping the side qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history in 2024.
Milan reportedly tried to sign Zirkzee in the summer, but failed to reach an agreement with United. However, a loan deal in January could be reached amid the player's lack of regular game minutes.
Zirkzee has registered seven goals and three assists in 54 games for Manchester United. His contract does not expire until 2029.
