Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has revealed his prediction for this weekend's North London derby after paying a visit to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. The Gunners will return to league action after the international break with a short trip from their bitter rivals as they look to return to winning ways.

The Premier League leaders dropped points for the first time in ten games when a late Sunderland goal saw their encounter end in a 2-2 draw at the Stadium of Light. Henry was at the home of Tottenham for the boxing match between Connor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr, and he told DAZN how it felt to be at the stadium. He also predicted Arsenal to pick up all three points on Sunday.

“Weird. I never came to the new stadium, I used to come to the old one and win a lot, but it's nice.
“As a fan I'm going to have to go with Arsenal. I do think we look solid, a bit less against Sunderland the other day, but it's time for us so hopefully it can happen", he said (via GOAL).

Arsenal have a four-point lead atop the Premier League standings, with Manchester City sitting in second place on the log. Mikel Arteta's side have been excellent this season, only dropping points in three of their 17 games in league and cup competitions.

The Gunners are unbeaten in each of their last six competitive meetings with Tottenham, with their last defeat to Spurs coming in May 2022. They won both of their league meetings in the 2024-25 season and have not lost a league match to their rivals at the Emirates Stadium in exactly 15 years.

Arsenal defender set for spell on the sidelines following injury on international duty

Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes is set to have a spell on the sidelines after picking up a muscle injury while he played for Brazil against Senegal. The 27-year-old centre-back was forced off in the second half of the friendly meeting with the West African outfit clutching his leg.

Gabriel was named in the starting XI for the Selecao in their friendly at the Emirates Stadium but was forced off after just 49 minutes. The former Lille man injured his adductor muscle and is set to spend a couple of weeks on the sidelines, potentially missing games against Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea.

Brazil have left Gabriel behind in London to commence his rehabilitation while they travel to France to face Tunisia in their second friendly of the month. The injury to the left-sided defender will be a source of worry to Mikel Arteta, who also saw his side lose Riccardo Calafiori to injury in this international break.
