“He’s not skilful” - Jack Grealish says Everton teammate is better than Arsenal ace Bukayo Saka and Chelsea star Cole Palmer in terms of pure skill

On-loan Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish reckons his Everton teammate Iliman Ndiaye is better than Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka and Chelsea's Cole Palmer.

Ndiaye, 25, has scored four times and provided two assists in 18 games across competitions this season. All the goal contributions have come in 16 outings in the Premier League, where the Toffees are ninth, 12 points behind leaders Arsenal (36).

Saka, 24, has seven goals and three assists in 21 games across competitions ths campaign. That includes four goals and two assists in 14 matches in the Premier League, where the Gunners are two points clear at the top. Meanwhile, Palmer, 23, has scored just three times in seven matches across competitions in what has been an injury-plagued campaign.

In a podcast on Stan Sport, Grealish said about the most skilful player in the Premier League at the moment:

"Saka, for example, is so good, one of the best wingers in the world. But he's not skilful."

The Englishman, as well as Kiernan Dewsbury Hall, agreed with the host's conclusion that Ndiaye is the most skilful player in the Premier League at the moment.

Grealish, 30, joined Everton on a season-long loan deal in the summer. He has two goals and four assists in 17 games across competitions, with all six goal contributions coming in 15 outings in the Premier League.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have had decent starts to the current season, especially the Gunners, who have topped the Premier League standings since matchday seven.

Following a 2-1 loss at Aston Villa earlier this month, Mikel Arteta's side bounced back to winning ways with a 2-1 home win over Wolverhampton Wanderers. They next take on Everton away in the league on Saturday (December 20).

Meanwhile, the Blues are coming off a 3-1 win at Cardiff City in midweek in the EFL Cup quarter-finals, thanks to Alejandro Garnacho's second-half brace, having beaten Everton 2-0 at home in the league at the weekend.

Enzo Maresca's side next travel to Newcastle United in the league on Saturday. Chelsea are fourth in the points table, with 28 points from 16 games, winning eight, two points ahead of seventh-placed holders Liverpool and eight behind leaders Arsenal.
