"Get him out of my team", "This is shameful stuff at this level" - Barcelona fans slam star despite their 2-1 comeback win over Frankfurt

Barcelona fans are calling for the sale of Pau Cubarsi after the defender's poor performance against Eintracht Frankfurt. They believe that the youngster has been making too many mistakes and is costing the club.

Barcelona fell behind in the first half, with Ansgar Knauff scoring for the Bundesliga side. in the 21st minute. The away side managed to keep hold of their lead until half-time, but the Catalan side bounced back well quickly after the restart.

Jules Kounde became the unlikely hero for Hansi Flick's side, scoring two goals in three minutes to turn things around. He scored the first goal in the 50th minute, before making it 2-1 in the 53rd minute.

Flick's side managed to keep hold of the lead until the end of the game and walked away with all three points. However, the fans are still pointing fingers at Cubarsi and are looking for him to be sold soon. They posted:

Hansi Flick spoke about the match, saying that Eintracht Frankfurt defended deep and did well to trouble his side. However, he is delighted to see them come away with the win but wants his players to refocus quickly and secure wins in the remaining two matches as well. He said:

"They defended very deeply, and didn't leave much space, yet we were able to create a lot of chances and find scoring opportunities. I haven't seen the rest of the results from tonight. Right now we can only focus on ourselves. We need 6 more points. We know that goal difference is crucial in our qualification matters."

Barcelona are now sitting 14th in the UEFA Champions League table, level on points with 10th-placed Borussia Dortmund and 11th-placed Chelsea.

Barcelona star comments on win over Eintracht Frankfurt

Barcelona star Marcus Rashford spoke to the media after the 2-1 win and said that he was happy for Jules Kounde. He added that it was something that have been practising in training and said:

"I was just trying to create opportunities and fortunately Jules was there in the box. We trained precisely on that this week. I'm happy for him because he didn't score one goal, but two. That's wonderful. I was just trying to create chances and, luckily, Koundé was there inside the box. We were practicing this specifically this week. I'm happy for him because he didn't score one goal, but two. It's wonderful."

Barcelona face Osasuna next in the league, and will be looking to extend their 4-point gap over Real Madrid.
