Manchester United legend David Beckham has opened up on a habit of his in the bedroom that used to annoy his wife Victoria. The former midfielder enjoyed a successful career at the highest level, playing for the likes of Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Now Inter Miami and Salford City's co-owner, Beckham revealed in a chat with Salford City's official YouTube page that some of his habits used to annoy Victoria. He revealed that he had certain traditions that he did not let go of during his career, providing an example of how he used to go to bed wearing new boots back then.
"I was very professional and regimented, actually. If I was wearing a new pair of boots, I used to wear 'em in [smiles]...in bed. [I'd] try not to fall asleep but would fall asleep sometimes wearing the boots. Just so they'd mould a little bit. Back in the day, you'd get a new pair of boots and they'd be quite stiff.
"So you'd bend them, throw them around a little bit, then put them on and wear them. Wear them around the bedroom...don't do it anymore obviously. Every now and again for Victoria, y'know [laughs]", he said (via Manchester Evening News).
