During a recent segment with TNT Sports Football, Pedro was asked to build his perfect Brazilian player with different attributes ranging from skills, leadership, left foot, and more.

The first attribute mentioned was right foot, and Pedro named Neymar, who is currently the Brazil national team's all-time top scorer. Marcelo was chosen for left foot, Vinicius for skills, while speed was entrusted to Ronaldo Nazario.

Pedro picked Manchester United midfielder Casemiro for strength. Veteran defender Thiago Silva got the nod for leadership, while Rodrygo was surprisingly mentioned for football brain.

When Joao Pedro opened up on his journey from Fluminense to Chelsea

Joao Pedro's journey to Stamford Bridge has been nothing short of inspiring. Playing for a top club like Chelsea is a huge step up in Joao Pedro's career, following his childhood days at Fluminense and his experiences in the top flight with Watford and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Speaking to reporters in September, Pedro said:

"Today's Joao Pedro is the Joao Pedro I've always dreamed of being. I am representing my country, I am in a big club in England, which has always been my dream to play there since I was a kid. I think I'm very calm with everything I've been going through. Because, as you said, my start at Fluminense was good. But then I had this transfer at Watford, I played in the second division.

"Many people thought I was crazy because I was doing so well at Fluminense, and I left very young. But I believe I made the right choice. In the end, everything worked out. I'm in Chelsea, I'm in the national team. Confident, happy. And I think it's just the beginning of a beautiful story to come. Not only with the national team jersey, but also with Chelsea."

Speaking a few days after joining Chelsea, Pedro told the club's media that it's always been a 'dream' for him to join the club. He admitted to watching former Blues Brazilian players like David Luiz, Ramires, and Willian before he joined the west London club.

The 24-year-old joined the Blues prior to the 2025 Club World Cup and played a key role in the club's journey to glory. To date, he has registered ten goal contributions for the club across competitions.
