Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Liam Delap is back from his hamstring injury. The striker is set to play in the Carabao Cup game against Wolverhampton, but will not play the whole game.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Maresca said that Delap, who has been out since the end of August, was back in first-team training. He added that the striker will need time before he plays a complete game, as he has been out for two months, and said (via Football London):
"Yes, he took part in a complete lead session yesterday and is available for tomorrow. No, [he cannot play] 90 minutes, no. It's I think two months now that he's out, so he needs gradually back to 100%."

Maresca was quizzed about the importance of the Carabao Cup for the club, and he admitted that they need to take all competitions seriously. He said:
"I think for Chelsea, all the competitions are important. Chelsea has to try to win games and to try to win competitions. So for me personally, all the competitions are important."
"As you said, it's three games away from the final. So we need to have the desire to play for that. As we said many times, we need to go game by game. Now the first one is Wolves tomorrow. We need to be focused on that. And then, hopefully winning the game, we can think about the next one."
The Blues defeated Lincoln City 2-1 in the previous round, and travel to Wolverhampton for the fourth-round clash.
Enzo Maresca confirms wholesale changes are due for Chelsea
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed he will rotate players for the Carabao Cup game against Wolverhampton. He claims that the players will suffer if he does not change the entire starting XI and keep playing an unchanged team.
He said (via Football London):
"The reason why is because we need to rotate, we need to protect players because if we go with the same 11, we're going to struggle during the season. So we need to rotate and probably we're going to make some changes. I don't know how many, but we're going to make some changes."
Chelsea are coming into the game following a 2-1 defeat at home to Sunderland in the Premier League. Wolverhampton lost 3-2 to Burnley at home in the league and are winless in the league, but have won their Carabao Cup clashes against West Ham United and Everton in the previous rounds.
