Juventus meet Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League

Bodo/Glimt will welcome Juventus to Aspmyra Stadion in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday. Both teams have endured a winless run in the competition thus far. The visitors have drawn three of their four games, one more than Glimt.

The hosts made it two wins from two games last week, defeating KFUM 2-1 away in the Eliteserien. Mathias Jørgensen scored a stoppage-time winner, with Fredrik Sjøvold, who scored in the first half, providing the assist. In their previous Champions League outing, they lost 1-0 at home to Monaco.

I Bianconeri are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions. They played a third consecutive draw last week, as they were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Fiorentina. Filip Kostić gave them the lead in the injury time of the first half, but it was short-lived as Rolando Mandragora pulled Fiorentina level in the 48th minute. They played a 1-1 draw against Sporting in the Champions League earlier this month.

Bodo/Glimt vs Juventus Prediction

Superlaget have conceded at least two goals in three of their four games in the Champions League this season and will look to improve upon that record here. They have failed to score just once at home across all competitions this season.

Jostein Gundersen was sent off against Monaco earlier this month and will serve a suspension here. They also remain without the services of Ola Brynhildsen due to an injury.

I Bianconeri have drawn their last three games, with all three games producing under 2.5 goals. They have conceded one goal apiece in six of their last seven games in all competitions. They are unbeaten in eight meetings against Norwegian teams, with four ending in draws.

Arkadiusz Milik, Gleison Bremer, and Daniele Rugani remain sidelined with injuries. Luciano Spalletti will also be without the services of Federico Gatti, who has been left out of the squad due to illness.

There is not much to separate the two teams at the moment, but considering Juve's better record in the Champions League, we back them to eke out a narrow win.

Prediction: Bodo/Glimt 1-2 Juventus
