AS Roma host Como at the Stadio Olimpico for their clash in 2025-26 Serie A season on Monday as they aim to pick up their 10th top-flight victory. Following a solid run earlier on, the Giallorossi appear to have gone off the boil lately, losing three of their last five games in the competition.
The decline in form has seen them drop to fourth position in the league standings, with 27 points in the bag from 14 games.
In their most recent outings, the Rome outfit were beaten 1-0 at home by defending champions Napoli, before Cagliari inflicted them with an identical loss a week later.
But Gian Piero Gasperini's side demonstrated shades of their former self with a convincing 3-0 win on the road to Scottish giants Celtic in the Europa League on Thursday.
That's a performance the former Atalanta manager will be expecting to see from his team in Serie A too as they look to make up for the lost ground in the title race after having led it for several weeks earlier on.
In what could be a further boost for Roma, key attacker Artem Dovbyk is closing in on a return from a muscular injury, with the Ukrainian resuming individual training. He was touted to return in mid-December, and could play against Como.
Speaking of which, the Biancoblu retained top-flight status last season after a strong sixth-place finish in Serie A against all the odds. The Lombardy minnows have certainly continued that form this season too, sitting in seventh place and accruing just three points fewer than Roma.
But their last game saw Inter Milan wipe the floor with Como in a lopsided 4-0 thumping, marking just their second defeat of the season.

AS Roma vs Como Prediction
The Giallorossi needed a second-half comeback to beat Como in their last encounter, a couple of months ago.
They can expect a similar match against the Biancoblu, who are punching above their weight yet again, but should be able to prevail given Roma's attacking menace.
