Zenless Zone Zero Zhao kit leaks: Abilities, special attack, and ultimate

Zhao's kit leaks in Zenless Zone Zero provide some insight regarding the character's capabilities. Unless HoYoverse decides to overhaul her abilities completely, she will retain her skill sets from the closed beta. For those out of the loop, Zhao is confirmed to be a Defense specialist from the Ice roster.

Zenless Zone Zero’s Zhao is an S-Rank Defense specialist, who, according to the leaks, can heal allies and boost their HP. She can further boost the ATK of the entire team, enabling them to deal bonus damage. The following section further discusses her potential kit:

Basic Attack

• Zhao can activate her Basic Attack to unleash five slashes that deal both Physical and Ice damage to the target.
• Hold down the input to enter the charging state. Release the button to launch a slash forward.
• She also accumulates charge time to deal additional damage with her alternate Basic Attack, Chain Attack, or Assist Follow-Up.

Special Attack / EX Special Attack

• Upon activating Special Attack, Zhao performs a forward slash inflicting Ice damage to enemies. She also consumes a potion of her HP to heal allies.
• Press the EX Special Attack to continuously slash forward, dealing damage and restoring ally’s HP. Upon activating the skill, she also gains some Frost Points, activating Ether Veil Wellspring at max stack.
• Activating the skill while under Ether Veil triggers a Quick Assist.

Ultimate

Upon activating the ultimate ability, Zhao performs a forward attack and a slash dealing Ice damage to enemies. Additionally, she accumulates Frostbite Point and consumes it to activate Ether Veil.

Core Skill

• Core Passive: Zhao gains additional CRIT Rate based on her HP and accumulates Frostbite Points when allies deal damage. She can activate her Entry Skill to deploy Ether Veil, increasing the max HP of all squad members. The team also gains an Attack buff.
• Additional ability: When there is an Attack, Anomaly, or Rupture agent in the team, Zhao increases the entire squad’s damage while in Ether Veil. All allies also deal extra damage based on Zhao’s max health.
