Zenless Zone Zero version 2.4 events and rewards

HoYoverse recently aired the Zenless Zone Zero version 2.4 livestream, where they showcased all the upcoming events, rewards, and new content expected to arrive with the update on November 26, 2025. Proxies can also expect some implemented changes in the latest story content and the events following the official Dev Talk released a few days ago.

As per the official event schedule, the upcoming version 2.4 will be shorter in duration, with 5 weeks, compared to previous patches. Here are all of the events planned by HoYoverse for Zenless Zone Zero version 2.4

Zenless Zone Zero 2.4 events overview

New main story chapter

There will be a new main story chapter in Zenless Zone Zero's version 2.4, "On the Precipice of the Abyss," which follows Ye Shiyuan’s disappearance, who was sent after Sarah in search of the Creator from the previous chapter in version 2.3.

Additionally, we will also meet Ye Shiyuan’s sister, Ye Shungguang, who's from the Yunkui Summit. She is also suggested to be the current inheritor of the Qingming sword from the livestream, which was previously owned by Yixuan’s sister, the previous High Preceptor.

Signal Search banners

Dialyn is the upcoming S-Rank Stun agent with Physical element, debuting in the first phase of the Signal Search banner during version 2,4 on November 26, 2025. Her dedicated S-Rank W-Engine, Yesterday Calls, will also be featured alongside her in the W-Engine Channel. While Hugo will also receive a rerun during this phase through a separate Signal Search banner, paired with his signature W-Engine.

The second phase, starting from December 17, will feature the other upcoming S-Rank Rupture agent Banyue, with the Fire element. and his W-Engine Wrathful Vajra. Ellen will also rerun simultaneously during the second phase with her signature W-Engine. However, players need to note that this phase will only last 12 days till December 29, 2025.

New Bangboos

Two new Bangboos will be released as well in version 2.4. The S-Rank Birkblick from Krampus Compliance Authority is available through the Bangboo Channel, while the A-Rank Bild N. Boolok is a free reward from the flagship event "Eh-Nah" Chess Saga.

Zenless Zone Zero 2.2 version events

Alongside story and banners, Proxies will get several limited-time events, each with standard rewards like Polychromes, upgrade items, and collectibles.

Check-in events

As always, there will be Check-In events in version 2.4 where Proxies can claim up to 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons.

"Eh-Nah" Chess Saga

This is the flagship version event of version 2.4, introducing a new strategy-style mode that plays a bit like a Bangboo-themed TFT (Team Fight Tactics) chess board. Proxies will have to position and manage different Bangboos to clear waves and complete challenge stages.

By participating, you’ll be able to obtain the new A-Rank Bangboo Bild N. Boolok and its Mindscapes for free, including other rewards such as Polychromes, level-up materials, title, and a Hamster Cage Pass.

Neo Golden Mecha

The Neo Golden Mecha limited-time event is focused on Grace's new movie project, where she brings us, Proxies, Eous, and the Manager into a first-of-its-kind movie production. Then, players will play as Eous, taking the role of Icaro to enhance the golden prototype mecha while taking on challenges inspired by the movie.

In this event, we are going to deep dive, tune our mechs, and give this movie plot a cinematic conclusion. Rewards consist of Polychromes, a new namecard, character skill materials, and Dennies.

Lightstream Notes

In this event, Proxies get to show Ye Shungguang around New Eridu and help her experience the city beyond her usual mountain training in Zenless Zone Zero. You’ll explore shops, play games, watch movies, and basically give her a proper taste of city life while she records everything in her diary.

This limited-time event is something similar to the agent Trust events we get in-game for playable characters. Along the way, players can earn rewards like Polychromes and Boopons, plus a few personal reflections from Shungguang herself.

100% Miss Bunny

The 100% Miss Bunny event puts Proxies through a special assessment designed by Senior Zhao of Krampus Compliance Authority. You’ll join her on business inspections, evaluate potential investments, and clear a set of tasks to earn rewards like Polychromes and Boopons. Finishing the assessment signals that you’ve officially earned Zhao’s hard-won approval, which can be beneficial for building credibility within that faction.

Simulated Sequence Showdown

The Simulated Sequence Showdown event returns with new challenges, including the familiar Alliance and Frontline stages and a fresh Martial Practice mode for players who want to polish their combat skills. This new mode will feature Banyue as the lead, offering a scoring system that rewards clean execution and proper use of his techniques. Rewards include Tuning Calibrators, Polychromes, skill and level-up materials.

Other recurring events

Endgame modes like Deadly Assault and Shiyu Defense will update on a rotational basis as usual. Additionally, Routine Cleanup and Combat Simulation events will double the rewards you gain during selected weeks, giving you, as a player, an easy way to stock up on valuable resources.

Zenless Zone Zero 2.4 brings a new story arc, new playable agents, and a mix of lighthearted and combat-intensive side events. With plenty of rewards spread across the update, it’s a great time for Proxies to log in regularly and make the most of everything this version is going to offer.
