The Wuthering Waves 2.8 update officially launched on November 20, 2022, introducing the brand-new Stranger Things in Honami event. It kicks off after resolving the looping crisis at Chisa's hometown. Nampion will ask for your assistance to investigate a series of anomalies in the Honami City.

In the process, you must also help gather supplies to rebuild the Shashou Cafe. In exchange, you can redeem both limited-time and standard rewards. This article further discusses everything required to complete the Stranger Things in Honami event in Wuthering Waves.

Stranger Things in Honami is a combat-exploration event from the Wuthering Waves 2.8 update, and it will be available permanently. However, there are limited-time rewards that you can claim from November 20 to December 24, 2025. To participate in the event, you must complete the Chapter II Segue “Flower Starlight in the Iris” main story quest.

Once done, a tutorial mission with the “Keep Exploring Honami City” prompt will appear under the quest tab. The marker will lead you to the Shashou Cafe, where you must talk to Namipon to initiate the event.

How to complete Stranger Things in Honami event in Wuthering Waves

During the event, you will explore specific areas in the Chronorift Metropolis in search of anomalies and scattered supplies. Make sure to break boxes and scan the streets to find items, which can be sold later. During the investigation, you will encounter enemies that drop additional supplies. Since your backpack has limited storage space, pick the ones with the highest value.

Manage stability

Keep track of the stability meter on the screen. If it drops to zero, the mission will terminate, causing you to lose all the loot. The more enemies you encounter, the greater is the risk of losing all the progress.

To avoid those situations, call for extraction via the Namipon Telephone Booth.

Sell your loot

Sell unequippable items to obtain Rice Dangos (Image via Kuro Games)

As specified, you can sell your loot in exchange for some Rice Dangos. Just head to Shashou Cafe and click on the event module. Head to the warehouse and click on the quick-sell button at the bottom to successfully trade the unequipable loot. You can then use the Rice Dangos to upgrade the cafe decor or purchase items.

Remember to purchase and upgrade the cafe decors to unlock special buffs for your teams. You can further equip the Namipon Stickers on characters to increase their strength.
