Wuthering Waves: Mornye's attribute and weapon type revealed

Mornye is one of the two upcoming playable characters in the Wuthering Waves 3.0 update. Kuro Games has officially confirmed she is a 5-star Resonator from Lahai-Roi as well as revealed her attribute and weapon type. However, she has yet to make an in-game appearance, so there's not much known about her as of this writing, but Rovers can look forward to meeting her in version 3.0.

As per the official drip marketing, Mornye will be released in the upcoming Wuthering Waves 3.0 update. The developers have also confirmed her weapon type and attribute, which are as follows:

• Attribute: Fusion
• Weapon type: Broadblade

Mornye is going to the fifth limited 5-star Resonator with the Fusion Attribute. She is from Lahai-Roi, and her introduction post reveals that she is a Spacetrek Collective researcher and a professor at Startorch Academy. However, Mornye is not very talkative, and she is unwavering in the pursuit of her dream, which is to surpass the limits of space-time and see the world beyond in all its beauty.

Since Mornye is one of the first characters to be introduced in Lahai-Roi, it is safe to say that she'll also play a significant role in the upcoming main story quest.

Unfortunately, theres no other info available on Mornye as of this writing. Her abilities also haven't been revealed, so Rovers must wait until beta leaks or the version 3.0 livestream for more details.

While Wuthering Waves usually follows a six-week update cycle, version 2.8 will be one week shorter, so version 3.0 should arrive on December 25, 2025. Moreover, Mornye will be in the second half since she was revealed after Lynae, which means that Rovers can expect the Startorch Academy professor to debut on January 15, 2026, and her banner will be available for three weeks.

As Mornye is a 5-star Resonator, she will get her own signature weapon, and it will also be featured on the Weapon Convene Event for a limited time.
