Wuthering Waves: Lynae's attribute and weapon type revealed

Wuthering Waves has officially announced some of the characters Rovers can look forward to meeting in Lahai-Roi, the upcoming region in version 3.0. Furthermore, the developers have confirmed that Lynae will be released in the new version and have revealed her weapon type and attribute. However, there's still no information on her potential abilities.

In their latest drip marketing campaign, Wuthering Waves has officially revealed that Lynae will be released in version 3.0, which is the first Lahai-Roi update.

In addition, the developers have shared Lynae's attribute and weapon type, which are as follows:

• Attribute: Spectro
• Weapon type: Pistols

Lynae is the fifth limited 5-star Resonator with the Spectro Attribute. According to her drip marketing post, she is a Preparatory Program student at Startorch Academy, and is a free spirit with passion in her soul. She drives fast and "paints" boldly, and her wish is to continue living her trouble-free campus life forever.

Another one of Lynae's introduction posts reads:

"Lynae picks up a can of homemade "paint" and starts spraying it into the air. A radiant spectrum of colors takes shape, flowing in mid-air as if it had a life of its own."

It seems that Lynae can spray paint into the air, and the paint can take a shape, flowing in mid-air. It is similar to Zhezhi's and might be her Forte ability.

Lynae is expected to play a significant role in the Lahai-Roi main story quest since she is the first character to be released in 3.x.

Version 2.8 will be one week shorter than usual, so version 3.0 should arrive on December 25, 2025. Furthermore, Lynae was revealed before Mornye, so she will be in the first half of the update. This means that the Startorch Academy student's banner will be released as soon as the new update goes live.

Lynae is a 5-star Resonator, so she will also get her own signature weapon, and it will be available on the Weapon banner for a limited time.
