Wuthering Waves teases upcoming areas and characters in new region Lahai-Roi

The first teaser trailer for Lahai-Roi, the next major chapter for Wuthering Waves, as well as the next destination for the Rover, was finally revealed by Kuro Games on November 26, 2025. The short teaser video mostly focused on major hubs from the upcoming region, alongside revealing the faces of three new resonators who will become playable.

Wuthering Waves Lahai-Roi teaser breakdown

Lahai-Roi, the scientifically advanced nation located at the edge of Solaris-3, was first teased at the very end of the Rinascita finale, where the leader of the villainous Fractsidus organization, Schwarzloch, mentioned the region to be their next target.

Wuthering Waves version 2.8's main quest finale came with the confirmation that this is indeed Rover's next destination, including the reveal that they once attended the Startorch Academy located in the region, alongside Chisa. With that said, Kuro Games finally revealed several areas of the nation, including the institute that our protagonist attended two decades ago.

Here are the areas that were officially revealed, which are part of the Lahai-Roi region in Wuthering Waves.

Three new characters from Lahai-Roi, Mornye, Luuk Herssen, and Lynae were also revealed at the very end of the trailer, and they will likely be the first to become playable in the coming updates, or at least the characters with whom the Rover will get acquainted after reaching the nation.

The upcoming region for the game will also differ drastically from the medieval islands of Rinascita, as it is a nation where scientific research and space travel take high priority. This also reflects heavily on both the character aesthetic as well as that of the teaser.

Version 3.0 is set to release on December 25, 2025, after the ongoing WuWa 2.8 update ends.
