Wuthering Waves 3.0 showcase reveals new character gameplay, mechanics, and more

PlayStation has revealed a new gameplay showcase for the upcoming Wuthering Waves 3.0 update. The trailer reveals in great detail what the region of Lahai Roi will look like, as well as the gameplay of Mornye and Lynae, two of the upcoming resonators set to release in version 3.0. A surprise tease was also there, as the PlayStation handle confirms an upcoming utility gadget that players will receive.

Lynae and Mornye gameplay showcase

Among the five Lahai Roi characters revealed by Kuro Games, Lynae and Mornye were confirmed to become playable in the upcoming Wuthering Waves update. The PlayStation trailer showcased both of their gameplay, highlighting how they will play out in combat.

Lynae was revealed to be a Spectro Pistol user, and her gameplay indicates that she wields two pistols. She can also use Roller skates in combat, and has a lot of graffiti artist motifs, which are in line with her previous promotional artwork.

Mornye, however, despite being a Broadblade user, has a lot of aerial combat where she fights with lasers. In all likelihood, she is an off-field unit, as during the combat showcase, it was Lynae who stayed on the battleground the most.

2) Motorcycle

A Motorcycle was suspected to be part of Lynae's kit due to her promotional artworks. The gameplay showcase revealed this vehicle. You can drive this around the map in both third-person and first-person perspectives, and it also plays music, as can be seen in the trailer.

The PlayStation gameplay trailer's description mentioned that this is a utility gadget and not locked to Lynae. It is called Expedition Motorbike, and all of the characters will likely be able to use it similarly to the flight utility added during the Rinascita updates.

3) Lahai Roi

The gameplay trailer for the Wuthering Waves 3.0 version showcases the region of Lahai Roi. The advanced technology of the area can be seen all across the lands in the video. It is highly likely that Lahai Roi will remain a land of eternal night, as it is extremely close to the poles of Solaris 3.

In the second half of the video, a new region is shown, which is full of plants. They seem to be responding to some musical rhythm, and you can see that the perspective shifts to that of a 2.5D. It is highly likely a dungeon that will become available with the Wuthering Waves 3.0 update.

4) Enemies

Lahai Roi is a land that is highly advanced in science, even by the standards of other nations in Solaris 3. This is shared by the enemies that you can find in the region. The combat showcase shows our two upcoming nations engaged in a battle with a mechanical robot.
