What begins as a simple favor at the Imperial Artisan Court ends up unraveling a quiet story of resentment, guilt, and rebuilding.

Travel to Kaifeng City and speak with the Wayfarer. He’ll point you toward the Jianghu Legacy called Under One’s Roof (also labeled 03). Open the Exploration menu > Side Story tab, inspect the Legacy, and start tracking it.

Teleport to the Imperial Artisan Court to reach the quest location more easily.

Meet Shi Jihuai at the Wonton stall

Head to the objective near the wonton stall. The quest will only move forward during Chen hour, so either wait or manually set the time. Talk to Shi Jihuai, then walk with him toward the construction site where you’ll meet Li Shun.

Fix the structure in Build Mode

Li Shun hands you the Diagrams of the Four-Rafter Structure. Enter Build Mode:

• Remove the misplaced pillars
• Add correct pillars around the base
• Make sure each one turns blue, indicating proper placement

This completes the first reconstruction step.

Investigate the thief

A thief suddenly steals Li Shun’s Timberwork Manual. Track the 'mysterious figure,' which leads you back to Shi Jihuai near a white-flowered tree. Inspect the area, then prepare to gather information.

Eavesdrop on the artisans

There are three groups you must listen in on:

• Workers actively constructing buildings
• Workers up on the roof
• Workers on the scaffolding

Once all conversations are overheard, return to Li Shun.

Retrieve the manual

Go to the building past the white-flower tree. Sneak behind the structure, climb in through the window, and take the Timberwork Manual from the shelf. Bring it back to Li Shun.

Complete the Four-Rafter House

Enter Build Mode again:

• Place the white walls
• Add the windows
• Install the lattice door

When finished, talk to Li Shun.

Visit Shi Jihuai and wait for the next day

Go to the courtyard and speak with Shi Jihuai. He gives you Ding Mu’er’s dagger. At this point, the quest forces a real-time pause and you must wait until tomorrow in real life.

Return the dagger to Ding Mu’er

The next day, go to the construction site near the tree with white leaves. Find Ding Mu’er and hand him the Bloodstained Dagger. Then unearth the wine buried behind his house.

A short cutscene plays, and the Jianghu Legacy is marked complete… but not fully finished.

Wait another real-life day

Again, wait until the next real-world day. Set the time to Chen hour and meet Shi Jihuai at the ruins of Ding Mu’er’s demolished house. Talk to Li Shun afterward to begin the final construction phase.

Build the new Four-Rafter House

Open Build Mode, place the house in the designated spot, then select auto-complete. You still need to furnish it, so place at least 4 pieces of furniture inside.

Build the blacksmith forge

Outside the house, assemble the forge area. The checklist includes 7 pieces, all of which must be placed to progress.

Set up the blacksmith stall

Place everything required:

• 2 tables
• 3 crates
• 10 tools

Once the full stall is arranged, you’re ready to wrap up the Legacy. Talk to Li Shun and Shi Jihuai to officially close out Under Another's Roof.
