Where Winds Meet walkthrough: How to complete March of the Dead quest

March of the Dead in Where Winds Meet is a Jianghu Legacy quest that you can find in the Ghostlight Market in Kaifeng. It is a pretty simple quest in which you have to find an armor, a spear, and a helmet to complete the Spectral Soldier Armor before fighting a Spectral warrior named Zhu Yousheng. Completing the quest will give you Echo Jades, Medicinal Tales, and more.

To start the March of the Dead quest, you must first unlock the Ghostlight Market map in Kaifeng. Once that is done, advance the in-game time to Mao Hour if it's still daytime, and talk to the NPC named Liu Changsheng at the teahouse south of the Boundary Stone in Ghostlight Market. He will tell you to find the following items:

Iron Spear
Mountain Crest
Battle Helmet

Follow the lantern and find the chests holding the three items

Mountain Armor

Go north of the Boundary Stone to find an NPC named Jin Yunhai sitting on a bamboo boat. Speak with him to get the location of the chest containing the Mountain Armor. Next, follow the marker and open the chest to get the item.

Battle Helmet

Follow the green lanterns and return to the starting point. From the teahouse, go left before turning right after passing the large gate to find a stall with a green lantern. Look behind it to find an NPC named Nan Lugong. Speak with the emissary to get the location of the chest containing the Battle Helmet. Once again, follow the marker and get the chest without getting noticed by the Spectral Soldier.

Return to the large gate near Nan Lugong's stall and follow the green lanterns on the left side of the gate until you find Xiang Gutong. Speak with the NPC to get the location for the chest containing Iron Spear. Finally, sneak past the Spectral Soldiers to open the chest.

Return to the starting point and submit the three items

Return to the teahouse and give all three items to Liu Changsheng.

Wear the Ghost Armor to conceal the scent of living on you and follow the Spectral Soldiers

Open your Bag and wear the Ghost Armor. Follow the Spectral Soldiers until you see another group of soldiers. This will test your patience since they move really slowly, so it takes some time to reach the destination. Once there, go to the front and push the gate to enter a large cave

Ask about the secrets beyond the Ghost Gate and defeat Zhu Yousheng

Speak with Liu Changsheng near the gate and defeat Zhu Yousheng. Once that is done, report back to the Black-Robed Emissary to finish the March of the Dead quest in Where Winds Meet. You'll get 30 Echo Jades and a Medicinal Tales as a reward.
