Where Winds Meet walkthrough: How to complete Fate's Farewell encounter quest

Fate's Farewell is an encounter quest that you can find in the Jadebrook Mountain in Where Winds Meet. During the quest, you meet an NPC who is trying to find his lost love, and you'll help him find her. It is a simple mission without a lot of fighting, and completing it will give you 50 Echo Jades, Coins, EXP, and a Soft-Padded Attire.

Teleport to Jadebrook Mountain using the northeastern Boundary Stone and head and northwest to find an NPC named Nie the Scholar on the Path of Karma. Interact with him to start the Fate's Farwell quest in Where Winds Meet.

Follow the quest marker to find two Aureate Pavilion guards and speak with them.

Return later and go to the Path of Karma

Advance the in-game time to next day and go to the location marked on the map.

Wander into the fog and talk to the young boy after he's calm

Follow the Path of Karma to find Nie the Scholar again. Wait for him to calm down and speak with him. Next, head to Wraith Village and approach the girl.

Enter the house and intearct with Lady Ning to give her the jade pendant.

Pick up the handkerchief left by the young girl and return to the Path of Karma to find the young boy

After the cutscene, the girl will disappear and leave behind a handerchief that you need to pick up. Next, return to the Path of Karma and talk to Nie the Scholar.

Chase the young boy to return the handkerchief and ask the two about the young boy's whereabouts

Follow the quest marker to find the two guards from earlier and ask them about the young boy's whereabouts. However, they will snatch the handkerchief from you, and you must defeat them to get it back.

Visit the young boy at Riverview Terrace and investigate the white flowers in bloom

Go to Riverview Terrace and follow the quest marker to find a wrecked wagon and white flowers instead of the boy. Finally, place the handkerchief in the wagon. This will complete the Fate's Farewell encounter quest in Where Winds Meet.
