Where Winds Meet walkthrough: How to complete Her Legacy side quest

Where Winds Meet has various side quests to conquer, including one labelled Her Legacy. This distraction involves tracking down clues located around the world from a series of treasure maps, which can be a bit time consuming and confusing.

How to complete Her Legacy side quest in Where Winds Meet

• Requirements: Complete Chapter 1
• How to obtain: Pick up the quest item in Heaven's Pier winery
• Rewards: Echo Jade (x25), Qinghe Exploration (x25), Coin (x10,000), Stored EXP (x10,000)

This Encounter mission becomes available after completing Chapter 1: Heaven Has No Pier. To begin, visit Heaven's Pier and head to the Winery area. Collect a scroll sitting on one of the shelves among the jars to start this quest. This is a treasure map, the first of many to be encountered across this quest.

Treasure Map #1: Peace Bell Tower

The first map obtained will lead you to the Peace Bell Tower spot. Here, a fisherman awaits peacefully, fishing in a pond. Talk to him and beat him in a fishing contest to get the second map. Note that you must have a fishing rod obtained and equipped, the earliest of which can be found nearby to the General's Shrine area or can be purchased from the Peddler in Heaven's Pier itself.

Treasure Map #2: General's Shrine

The General's Shrine is one of the earliest visited locations in Where Winds Meet. Head to the spot on the treasure map to find a couple of NPCs next to a shed: Sweeping Villager and Zhao Dali. Use Wind Sense to locate a bunch of breakable jars nearby and grab the scroll inside. Speak to the Sweeping Villager for the next clue.

Treasure Map #3: Kilnfire Ridge

The next stop is Kilnfire Ridge; however, the treasure map here features no points of interest to gather an approximate idea of the location. The easiest way to get there is to teleport to the underground Kilnfire Ridge Moonveil Stream teleport station, then climb the ladder to get outside.

Find the Woodcutter next to a tree nearby and talk to him for the next clue, which sees you jump on the rooftop of the building next to him to grab the new map.

Treasure Map #4: Bamboo Abode

Climb the cliff left to this spot on the road to reach the Hunter

Map 4's destination is a little way off, as it is located in Bamboo Abode. Fast travel to the Bamboo Grove Boundary Stone or the nearby Wayfarer (Verdant Wilds) teleport point. Head to the location in the image above and head up the rocky cliffside nearby to find a Hunter.

Partake in an archery minigame with him and win to get the next clue - a letter that invites you to the Bamboo Grove Hut.

This is the same dilapidated hut you begin Where Winds Meet at, so the fast travel option to the Bamboo Retreat Boundary Stone will already be unlocked. Investigate the sacks near the entrance to find a bunch of heads inside. The nearby broken door leaning against the wall to the left of the clue will have a bloody note attached to it; investigate that as well.

Now head to the back of the building and pick up the sparkling item near the steps. Open the Bag and head over to Quest items to check out the obtained Ruby's Letter. This grants you the Red Threads wrist accessory. For the final step, head inside the quest and meditate, then talk to Ruby in the dream.
