Where Winds Meet roadmap: All upcoming events and updates

After a successful launch, Where Winds Meet has now updated players with a very detailed roadmap of upcoming content. There’s quite a lot coming in December 2025, from a new region, more bosses, and some limited-time events. Whether you want to disguise yourself, or take part in intense raids, there’s plenty of content for you to do throughout the month of December.

It’s easily one of my favorite games of the year, so I’m glad to see we’re getting more content, and communicated in a way that’s easy to get through. We’ll even see the global launch of the Where Winds Meet mobile version, according to the roadmap, so that’s yet one more thing to look forward to. Here’s everything on the way in December 2025.

All upcoming updates and events on Where Winds Meet’s roadmap (December 2025)

The next few weeks are jam-packed with events and updates for Where Winds Meet, according to the roadmap revealed on their Discord. Some of these events have already happened, such as the unlocking of side quests Twelve Years of Feuds and An Unholy Prophecy. Below is a complete list of what is available this month.

Week 1

• December 1: Jianghu Legacy: Twelve Years of Feuds quest unlocks
• December 4: Jianghu Legacy: An Unholy Prophecy quest unlocks

Week 2

• December 11: Global Mobile Launch
• December 11: Roaring Sands Zone unlocks
• December 11: Campaign: River Master unlocks
• December 11: Boss: Feng Ruzhi unlocks
• December 11: Limited-Time Activities: Fortune Beyond Parlor
• December 11: Limited-Time Activities: The Great Faceologist
• December 14: Sect: Velvet Shade unlocks

Weeks 3-4

• December 21: Sword Trial: Scarlet Shock (Sleeping Daoist/Murong Yuan) unlocks
• December 21: Hero’s Realm: Blazing Gale Dance (Twin Lions/Murong Yuan) unlocks
• December 30: Fireworks Festival

Quite a few fans have been hoping to see the mobile version of Where Winds Meet, and on December 11, 2025, the wait is over. Honestly, December 11 is jam-packed with tons of content. The River Master campaign/boss will unlock, as will Feng Ruzhi. We’ve been wondering about the Velvet Shade sect as well. We will have to see how they unlock, so stay tuned.

The Great Faceologist sounds like a Disguise event, but unfortunately, we don’t have a lot of information about either of the Limited-Time Activities. They could differ in some ways from the Chinese servers.

Finally, we also have two new incredible battles on the way in the form of Sword Trial: Scarlet Shock, and Hero’s Realm: Blazing Gale Dance. If you’re looking to push yourself and test how good you are, these are the places you’ll want to do it. It’s unlikely any of this will change, but if it does, we’ll update the roadmap accordingly.
