Where Winds Meet is nearing its global launch on PC and PS5, with players already counting down to its imminent release. The game has technically been out since last December, but it remained limited to its region-locked Chinese client. With this global version, NetEase will finally let everyone sample their wuxia definitely-not-an-MMO open world.

Where Winds Meet's preload is already up, but players will have to wait till the latter half of November 14 in the US, and the day after for many other regions. Here are all the details.

When will Where Winds Meet release in your time-zone?

Where Winds Meet goes live on November 14 in the US, with the release time set at 2 pm PST (10:00 pm UTC). This means the release date will technically be November 15 for most of Europe, as well as the entirety of Asia and Oceania. Here's what the release time looks like in various regions across the world:

• United States and South America: 2 pm PST / 3 pm MST / 4 pm CST / 5 pm EST / 5 pm BRT (November 14, 2025)
• Europe: 10 pm GMT / 10 pm UTC (November 14, 2025) / 12 am CEST (November 15, 2025) / 12 am EET (November 15, 2025)
• Africa: 12 am SAST (November 15, 2025)
• Asia: 2 am GST / 3:30 am IST / 6 am PHT / 6 am CST (Beijing Time) / 7 am JST/KST (November 15, 2025)
• Australia: 9 am AEDT/ 11 am NZDT (November 15, 2025)

This is a concurrent release across both platforms (PC and PS5 at the moment), so console players as well as those on Steam will gain access to Where Winds Meet at the given times. Since the servers open at the same time globally, you can't get a head start with the New Zealand trick.

Xbox players, meanwhile, might have to wait for a very long time. NetEase has not expressed any immediate intention for a release on Xbox, despite no known console exclusivity deal.

Where Winds Meet preload and file size details

If you want to start playing the game right away, pre-download is available on both PC and PS5. Head to your respective storefronts (Steam/PS Store) and add the game to your library, and then you'll be able to preload it. The file size lingers around 100 GB on both platforms:

• PC (Steam): 95.9 GB
• PlayStation 5: 108 GB

Note that you may need additional in-game downloads if you want voice-acting localizations other than English. Furthermore, the standalone client had options between various texture sizes during the global betas, which would increase the file size on PC to as large as ~120 GB. It's unknown whether the global release client will also have these options; we can confirm that the Steam version doesn't.
