Before you start wondering if the passive will help you in combat, it doesn’t. Both the Aspiration Talents help you gain an advantage across different mini-games in the open world, so if you don’t care too much about them, pick any you want.
However, all mini-games count towards regional progression, so if you're looking to 100% everything, playing them will be necessary. And your choice will make the games easy. Here are the benefits of each of them:
Drunken Precision benefits
The Drunken Precision charm allows you to gain the ‘Tipsy’ effect. It helps you during the Pitch Pot mini-game, where you need to hold LMB to aim. The buff will shorten the aim time, allowing you to finish a rotation faster and shoot more arrows for additional points.
Rhetoric Edge benefits
The Rhetoric Edge grants you +2 Inspiration while starting a debate with anyone. It gives you an advantage in the Gift of Gab mini-game, giving you more cards to counter the opponent, kickstarting your winning streak early on.
Which one to choose between Drunken Precision and Rhetoric Edge in Where Winds Meet?

While the difficulty level for each player can be subjective across different games, Rhetoric Edge is the most beneficial overall. During our time playing the mini-games, we found Pitch Pot to be much easier, as aiming and keeping up with moving bubbles isn’t too complicated.
However, Gift of Gab will have you think before making a move, and having some extra choices at hand early on will help you win all debates in the game. The final decision ultimately rests in your hand, but don’t think too hard, as there are many more challenging tasks in Where Winds Meet.
