In Where Winds Meet, the Longevity Fruit and Seed are very important items that are connected to the quest called Lost Cause Prayers. The game does not give you a lot of direct help or clear instructions while you are trying to find these items. To finish this part of the quest, you will be required to collect two of the fruits, which are found in two different specific places in the game world.
After that, you must get the seed, which you can only receive as a reward after you have successfully beaten a significant and powerful boss character. This guide will show you the way to get Longevity Fruit and Seed in Where Winds Meet.
How to get Longevity Fruits in Where Winds Meet
You can obtain two Longevity Fruits during this questline. Each one comes from a different area, and both are mandatory.

1) Wraith Village
- Fast travel to the Wraith Village teleport landmark in the Witherwilds.
- Look for the house just northwest of the landmark.
- Go inside the house and locate the ladder.
- Climb up to the second floor.
- The fruit is sitting in the corner of the room.
This one is straightforward once you know the house to enter.
2) Gleaming Abyss
- Travel to the Gleaming Abyss area.
- Head directly to the large statue in this zone.
- At the base of the statue, you’ll see multiple dark holes.
- Look closely for the hole covered in vines.
- Shoot a fire arrow at the vines to clear the path.
- Enter the opening and pick up the second fruit.
Once you collect this, you’ll have both fruits needed for the later offering step.
How to get Longevity Fruit Seed in Where Winds Meet
The Fruit Seed comes from progressing the same storyline, not from exploration alone.
- Go back to the Gleaming Abyss and complete the Gleaming Abyss quest.
- Finish the campaign and defeat the Void King boss.
- The seed is rewarded after winning this fight.
Where to plant the Longevity Fruit Seed

After obtaining the seed, it needs to be planted at a very specific location.
- Travel to the Tiger Fort landmark in northern Twinbeast Ridge.
- From the landmark, move west.
- Look for a raised, dais-like area in the terrain.
- You’ll see Lu Sheng, an NPC standing nearby.
- Plant the seed in the center of the platform.
Lu Sheng acts as a visual reference point, so if you see him, you’re in the right spot.
Offering the fruits
Planting the seed isn’t the final step. You’ll still need to offer the fruits.
- Go to the two shrines located around Twinbeast Ridge.
- You must offer the fruits during the Hour of Zi only.
- Use the in-game time skip menu to advance time if needed.
- Offer one Longevity Fruit at each shrine.
Once both fruits are offered:
- All three quest items (two fruits and the seed-related progression) go naturally from your inventory.
- The Lost Cause Prayers quest advances to its next stage.
