Where to find Patrol Car key in Arc Raiders

The Patrol Car key is a rare item in Arc Raiders that helps you loot some valuable gear. It can spawn randomly in different areas, but there are certain locations where you can find it more often. The key usually appears in residential areas or buildings that contain high-tier loot.

Before you start searching for the key, ensure you clear space in your inventory, especially the Safe Pocket slot, to store the key once you find it.

Patrol Car key’s location in Arc Raiders

You can find the Patrol Car key on the Dam Battlegrounds map, inside the Ruby Residence building. The building is located on the eastern side of the map, and the easiest way to get there is to mark it on your map. Since the Patrol Car key is a random spawn item, it totally depends on your luck. Sometimes, you might find it on your first raid, but other times it can take a few tries.

It’s a rare item that randomly spawns in residential areas and high-loot containing buildings. In Ruby Residence, search desks and lockers, as the key often spawns in these containers.

If you don’t find the key there, try searching the area again after returning to Speranza. Apart from this, you can search the Research and Administration building. Once you find the key, put it in the Safe Pocket slot to avoid losing it if you die.

Where to use the Patrol Car key in Arc Raiders

After you find the Patrol Car key from the Dam Battlegrounds map, move to the Blue Gate map. You can actually use this key to unlock a Patrol Car in a hidden area on the said map. In the Blue Gate map, reach the Headhouse building. It is located near the center of the map, right beside the Reinforced Reception and Warehouse Complex.

Once you reach the exact location, you’ll spot some Hornets. After destroying them, look for a staircase inside the building to reach the ground floor. From there, you will find a nearby zipline. The area will be quite dark, so use the flashlight to spot it easily. Take the zipline to reach the underground section of the building.

As you reach there, move a bit to spot some Patrol Cars. However, be cautious, as you'll have to deal with a few Fireball Arcs. Once the path is clear, you can unlock any of the cars with the Patrol Car key.

Inside, you'll find plenty of loot, including ammo, muzzle break, gun parts, Torrente blueprint, and Anvil. Keep in mind that you can only use the key once.
