Chisa’s banner is available in the Wuthering Waves 2.8 update from November 20 to December 11, 2025. Below we have discussed her strengths and weaknesses that will help determine if she is worth pulling for in the ongoing patch.
Chisa’s strength
- Chisa’s is arguably the best support for teams that utilize negative effects, given her ability to increase the maximum debuff stacks one can apply on an enemy. She will greatly benefit Cartethyia and Zani as of writing.
- Chisa is also the first character to introduce the Havoc Bane effect. Targets afflicted with the negative status will have their defense reduced with every hit.
- She doubles as a sub-DPS, being able to unleash quite a bit of Havoc DMG with her Chainsaw Mode.
- Chisa can replace healers in the team, as her kit offers both health regeneration and shields to all allies.
Chisa’s weaknesses
- Although Chisa boasts flexible skill sets, they are mostly catered to enhance the negative effects. Hence, she can be classified as a niche character, given that a couple of team compositions utilize debuffs.
- Havoc Bane isn’t the best effect to deal damage, so she cannot really replace a main DPS.
- Chisa’s base kit is somewhat clunky. Moreover, her support potential is locked behind her Resonance Chain and signature weapon.
Based on the above list, it is clear that Chisa has quite a few weaknesses, which will certainly affect her pull value.
Is Chisa worth pulling for in Wuthering Waves?

No, Chisa is not worth getting from the Wuthering Waves 2.8 banners, unless you have Cartethyia and Zani. She will be more useful once Kuro Games adds more characters that utilize the negative effects. However, we recommend saving your wishes in this patch. You can always get Chisa later from the rerun banner if required.
